Radar Detectors and Jammers

Radar guns use the Doppler Shift principle, which means the guns shoots out specific radio waves and measures the speed at which the waves return. Radar detectors scan for the wave police radars use and make a noise when they are around to alert you of their presence. Radar jammers not only pick up the police waves, but also return confusing waves to the radar gun making your speed hard to calculate.
